Baby Shower Nametag Ideas
Do you need baby shower nametag ideas?
Our ideas will help you create attractive nametags and ignite your imagination to come up with something even better!
When making nametags you only need to make sure the name can be seen clearly. Other than that you can go crazy and add anything you want to the border of the nametag.
We think it’s best to avoid nametags with pins, just in case any of your guests are wearing silk or a similar fabric that will show the pin hole once the tag is removed. You can also have a selection of sticker and pin nametags if you want, so that your guests can decide.
Names can be printed either by hand or computer, depending on how organized you want to be. If guests are going to print their own names, be sure to have a felt marker available. Printing nametags on your computer gives you the option of choosing a decorative font (style of lettering) and color.
Fun fonts for Microsoft users include:
- Bradley Hand ITC
- Comic Sans
- Curlz MT
- Freestyle Script
- French Script MT
- Jokerman
- Juice ITC
- Kristen ITC
- Magneto
- Matisse ITC
By using your computer, you can also add graphics to make it really novel. We have a wonderful selection of clip art for
baby shower nametag ideas,
as well as placemats, games, invitations, raffle tickets and much more.
Here are a few ideas of graphics you can use:
- Soothers
- Rattles
- Storks
- Babies
- Diapers
- Carriages
- Pregnant Mom
- Theme Related Images
You could add a current picture of the mother-to-be or one as a baby, small safety pins or rattles. Your local dollar store will probably have items you could use.
One cool baby shower nametag idea could be to take real soothers, attach diaper pins to each soother, slice the bottom of the rubber nipple and insert your nametag into the slit. You may need to add some glue to make sure they stay in place.
Another fun idea would be to fold your paper like a diaper, glue the sides, and add guests’ names to the outside with a felt marker. Attach nametags with a diaper pin (remember to be considerate of what guests may be wearing).
Cut paper into any baby shower shape, such as
- baby bottles
- rattles
- soothers
- bibs
- crying babies
- ducks
- bears
- fish
If there is a teacher store near you, you may be able to find paper cutouts of these shapes. This will save you time and the nametags could look better than if you cut them out by hand.
Have a good time making your baby shower nametags!
