Simple
Finger Sandwiches

"They Taste As Good As They Look"

Most buffets have finger sandwiches of some form. Whether or not you include them is really up to you and what other appetizers you plan on serving.

These sandwiches make an easy and tasty addition to any buffet, and they can also look really good.

Check out our Pinwheel and Checkerboard sandwiches if you want to see how great they can look!

Our finger sandwiches are easy to follow and will be a simple addition to your baby shower menu.

Important points to remember are:

  • use day old sandwich loaves
  • remove crusts
  • chill before serving
  • don't use too much mayonnaise

Day old loaves of bread are best to use because they are able to absorb any moisture without making the bread soggy. Removing crusts make the sandwiches easier to eat.

Chilling before serving helps the filling to stay in place. Be careful not to have moist filling next to the bread. Always have a thin layer of butter or margarine between them.

Too much mayonnaise can ruin even the best sandwich by making it too creamy. Some people may like this type of sandwich, but it's better to be careful and make a sandwich everyone will enjoy.
